Batt insulation, installed the right way

Batt insulation is the classic blanket-style insulation fitted between studs, joists, and posts, then covered by drywall or paneling. Done carefully — no gaps, no compression — it's a dependable, cost-effective way to insulate a home.

Two materials, done well

Fiberglass or Rockwool — your call

We install both fiberglass and Rockwool (mineral wool) batts. The material matters less than the install: gaps, compression, and missed cavities are what quietly wreck a batt job's performance. We fit each cavity fully and neatly.

  • Fiberglass batts — the economical, widely used standard.
  • Rockwool batts — denser, with strong fire resistance and sound control.
  • Ideal for new construction and re-insulating open walls.
  • A straightforward option when foam isn't necessary for the space.

Not sure batts are the best fit? We'll compare them honestly against spray foam and blown-in for your project.

Federal tax credit

Bulk insulation products — including batts, rolls, blown-in fibers, and spray foam — may qualify for the federal Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit (25C), generally up to 30% of material cost with annual limits. Credits depend on your situation; confirm eligibility with a tax professional or at irs.gov.
