Spray foam (SPF) is a two-part chemical that's mixed at the tip of the gun and applied as a liquid. In seconds it expands and cures into rigid or semi-rigid foam that bonds to the surface and seals it — plywood, OSB, cinder block, metal framing, and poured foundations included.
Because it fills cracks and gaps that batts and blown-in simply bridge over, foam creates a seamless air barrier and vapor barrier in a single step. That's what makes a room feel dramatically more comfortable and hold its temperature.

Raw foam works, but it isn't pretty. For shops, garages, and barndominiums, we coat the cured foam in a clean, durable finish — the crisp gray and black interiors you see across East Texas are ours.

Very little. Most installs take one to two days depending on the structure, and we protect and clean the work area throughout.
Spray foam needs to be separated from living spaces by a code-approved thermal or ignition barrier — which is exactly the fire-protective coating we apply over it (see thermal protection). Every foam job we do is installed to code.
No. The foam is hydrophobic — it sheds water rather than holding it — and it doesn't react with the plastic coating on electrical cabling.
There's minor initial shrinkage, but independent testing has found 15- and 20-year-old foam performing on par with new foam. It's a long-term investment.
